Job summary

ABS Kids is hiring part-time Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in the Charlotte, NC area. You will provide one-on-one ABA-based support, use play and structure to teach real-life skills, and collect data on client progress. No experience?

We will train you on the job and support certification goals. We offer a $18.00–$24.00/hour pay range, premium pay for group sessions, and benefits including PTO, 401(k) with company match, and paid RBT certification.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience working with children or adults with special needs.
• Heart for helping kids and a calm, steady presence.
• Eagerness and energy to play with children.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and other locations.
• Tech savviness to learn our data collection software.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to clients with autism spectrum disorder.
• Collect and record data on client behavior and progress.
• Assist with ABA therapy activities and teaching real-life skills.
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for clients and staff.

Job description

$500-$1000 bonus for candidates based on experience.

We have variable part-time shifts available for entry-level Behavior Technicians up to seasoned RBTs.

Must have availability 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday.

Benefits and Compensation:

• $18.00 - $24.00 / hour
• Earn an additional $2.00 /hour (premium pay) for group sessions
• Increase for RBT certification
• Paid RBT Certification - No experience necessary, we will help you get trained on the job!
