Job Description

We are currently hiring a Learning Specialist in Cincinnati, OH.

This is a Hybrid position at Boston Beer, requiring coworkers to reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams’ weekly schedule.

The Learning Specialist focuses on learning delivery and implementation by partnering closely within the brewery operation's departments to deliver new hire orientation, onboarding, and technical role-based curriculum. This role works with operational leaders to ensure high-quality delivery of new hire and cross-training programs, maintaining and updating program materials for continuous improvement.

What You'll Brew:
  • New Hire Orientation & Onboarding: Coordinate and host new hire orientation, partner with People & Culture to build onboarding processes that reflect the company's culture.
  • On-the-Job Skills Training & Coordination: Maintain training records, monitor schedules, assign trainers, and ensure training program standards.
  • Skill Verification & Bench: Assist leaders in development plans, verify skills, and host bench strength discussions.
  • Training Program Health & Reporting: Track KPIs, conduct progress check-ins, gather feedback, and participate in program evaluations.
  • Continuous Improvement & Change Management: Support brewery initiatives, update SOPs, and assist with change management processes.
What Ingredients You'll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of progressive learning and development experience, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • 3+ years working in a production or manufacturing environment with training delivery and facilitation skills.

Skills:

  • Collaborative, flexible, with a passion for change and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well at all organizational levels.
  • Experience with designing engaging learning solutions and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in Learning & Development focusing on training.

Level: 6

Salary range: $75,000–$111,000 annually, with potential bonuses, based on location and experience.
