Job summary

Children's Hospital Association in Lenexa, KS, is seeking a Learning Management System (LMS) Specialist to manage the Analytics LMS, content, events, reporting, and learner engagement in a hybrid office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years administering or supporting a learning management system (Cornerstone preferred).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in education, instructional design, training, or learning systems.
• Strong understanding of adult learning theory and its application.
• Experience applying instructional design to self-paced and instructor-led content.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and retire LMS content, including modules, curricula, and checklists.
• Maintain course metadata, availability, and learner access.
• Implement certificates, emails, and learning object updates.
• Coordinate LMS issues with IT for escalation and fixes.
• Manage instructor-led training events and sessions.
• Maintain class rosters and learner records.
• Support learner communications for training events.
• Maintain resources within the LMS and Analytics platforms.
• Manage learning announcements, forums, and event postings.
• Help improve learner engagement and adoption.
• Serve as primary contact for external member LMS questions.
• Run LMS reports on utilization and completions.
• Share insights with the Learning Strategy Lead for improvement.

Where You’ll Work

This position will be based in our Lenexa, KS office. We observe a hybrid working model that consists of three days in the office, two days optional remote work.

What You’ll Do

This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration and content management of the Analytics Learning Management System (LMS) and related learning resources. The Specialist manages LMS content, learning resources, events, reporting, and learner engagement activities to support effective adoption of Analytics programs. The role executes approved learning strategies and partners closely with internal stakeholders.

• Create, update, and retire content in the LMS including self-paced modules, curricula, playlists, assignments, and observation checklists.
• Maintain accurate course metadata, availability, and learner access.
• Implement approved certificates, email content, and learning object updates.
• Partner with the Analyst, Application Services (IT team) to coordinate escalation and resolution of technical LMS issues and system-related enhancements.
• Manage creation, updates, and retirement of instructor-led training events and sessions.
• Maintain class rosters and learner records.
• Support learner communications related to training events.
• Maintain learning resources within the LMS and Analytics community platforms.
• Manage learning-related announcements, discussion boards, and event postings.
• Support initiatives to improve learner engagement and adoption
• Serve as primary point of contact for external member LMS questions or issues.
• Run LMS reports related to utilization and completions.
• Share insights with the Learning Strategy Lead to support continuous improvement.
• Partner with the Analyst, Application Services (IT team) to coordinate escalation and resolution of technical LMS issues and system-related enhancements.

What You’ll Bring to CHA

• Minimum of 3 years of experience administering or supporting a learning management system (Cornerstone preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in education, instructional design, training, or learning systems.
• Demonstrated understanding of adult learning theory and its application to effective learning experiences.
• Experience applying instructional design principles to develop, organize, or improve self-paced and instructor-led learning content.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate across teams.
• Familiarity with learning technologies and reporting tools are preferred.

This pay range shown is a guideline. Min:$70,000 Max: $120,000Compensation is based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
