Job summary

Children’s Hospital Association in Lenexa, KS is seeking an LMS Specialist to manage the Analytics Learning Management System, content, events, reporting, and learner engagement. The role partners with IT and learning teams to ensure effective adoption of Analytics programs.

You’ll maintain course metadata, schedules, rosters, and communications, run utilization and completion reports, and support continuous improvement with the Learning Strategy Lead.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience administering or supporting a learning management system (Cornerstone preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education, instructional design, training, or learning systems.
• Demonstrated understanding of adult learning theory and its application to effective learning experiences.
• Experience applying instructional design principles to develop, organize, or improve self-paced and instructor-led learning content.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage LMS content, courses, playlists, and assessments.
• Maintain course metadata, availability, and learner access.
• Implement certificates, emails, and learning object updates.
• Coordinate with IT to resolve LMS issues and enhancements.
• Manage instructor-led training events and rosters.
• Support learner communications related to training events.
• Maintain resources within LMS and analytics communities.
• Run LMS reports on utilization and completions.
• Share insights with Learning Strategy Lead for improvement.
