Job summary

The American Academy of Pediatrics seeks a Talent Development Specialist to design, coordinate, and deliver training for staff across the organization. You will collaborate with SMEs to develop programs, reference materials, and communications, ensuring adult learning principles are embedded in all development activities.

You will manage onboarding, performance and engagement initiatives, track progress across platforms, and provide guidance on available learning resources.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering live and virtual training programs.
• Ability to assess training needs and develop targeted solutions.
• Familiarity with LMS, HRIS, and learning technology platforms.
• Experience in nonprofit or association environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and coordinate employee development needs and programs.
• Collaborate with SMEs and partners to create training content and materials.
• Deliver and facilitate training using multiple methodologies and tools.
• Maintain and update LinkedIn Learning, Traliant, and other platforms.
• Support onboarding, performance management, and leadership development initiatives.
• Monitor completion rates and ensure regulatory training compliance.
• Assist with budget, invoices, and metrics for professional development.
• Assist with employee engagement surveys and learning analytics.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through participant feedback and observations.
