Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Training Specialist to lead talent development across functions via in-person, online, and self-paced learning. You will identify training needs, contribute to content development, deliver trainings, gather feedback, and maintain training records.

You will collaborate with HR and stakeholders to design courses, monitor LMS modules, and support onboarding.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience delivering training in both in-person and virtual settings
• Experience collaborating on development of training content and leader's guides
• LMS administration experience or proficiency with LMS platforms
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to train others in their use
• Experience in content authoring tools like Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360
• Certification in instructional design is a plus

Responsibilities

• Facilitate training sessions on soft-skills, leadership development, and other topics
• Monitor coverage of self-paced learning modules for all assigned team members
• Collect feedback on training effectiveness and maintain attendance records
• Collaborate on new content development and upgrades for training modules
• Present recommendations on quarterly training interventions to the Talent Development Manager
• Monitor and report on talent development initiatives
• Coordinate with Regional HR Managers for training refreshers or one-on-one sessions
• Assist resources and SMEs in development of training content
• Support onboarding for new associates with training resources
• Stay updated on industry best practices in training and development
• Other duties as assigned
