Job summary

Fairmont Kea Lani in Wailea, Maui, Hawaii, seeks a People and Culture Manager focused on Learning & Development to advance leadership capability, service culture and professional growth across the hotel. You will design, implement and facilitate training, align initiatives with brand standards, and collaborate with leaders to strengthen colleague engagement and guest experiences.

The role requires developing learning programs, leading onboarding, coaching leaders, and delivering training metrics

Qualifications

• Must have strong English communication (written and spoken).
• 2-4 years in training, learning and development, or hospitality-related training roles.
• Experience designing and delivering training programs.
• Experience facilitating onboarding and leadership development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and evaluate training programs for leaders and colleagues across departments.
• Develop an annual Learning Journey aligned with hotel priorities and leadership goals.
• Create engaging training sessions including leadership development and service culture.
• Lead new colleague orientation and onboarding programs.
• Coordinate leadership development programs and provide coaching to leaders.
• Support learning metrics and reporting to identify gaps and opportunities.
