Job summary

Sotheby’s is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to design, deliver, and continuously improve programs that build employee capability and leadership across the business. You will manage a portfolio spanning onboarding, manager development, and digital learning, partnering with HR, business leaders, and external providers to translate needs into scalable experiences.

This role blends strong facilitation with program management and a passion for developing talent.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• Experience designing and delivering learning programs from concept through evaluation.
• Experience with manager development, leadership development, onboarding, career development, and/or professional skills programming.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage employees and leaders at different levels.
• Experience administering Learning Management Systems and managing learning data, assignments, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver learning programs across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and leadership development.
• Develop practical tools and resources to help managers lead and engage their teams.
• Manage mentorship programs and partnerships with external facilitators and vendors.
• Coordinate and deliver required compliance training with Legal, Compliance, and HR teams.
• Oversee LMS administration, course content, reporting, and vendor relationships.
• Establish and track learning metrics and create dashboards for HR leadership.
