Job summary

Sotheby’s Learning & Development Manager will design, deliver, and continuously improve learning programs that build employee capability, leadership, and growth across the business. Reporting into the Talent Programming and Engagement team, this role will manage a portfolio of learning initiatives across onboarding, manager and leadership development, professional skills training, and partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development (or related fields).
• Experience designing and delivering learning programs end-to-end.
• Experience with manager and leadership development, onboarding, and career development.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills; able to engage leaders at all levels.
• Experience administering LMS and managing learning data.
• Excellent project and program management; ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication; stakeholder management.
• Experience managing external facilitators, coaches, vendors, or partnerships.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with AI-enabled learning platforms and integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Learning & Development strategy aligned with business needs.
• Identify training needs with team leads, HR BP, and stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and deliver programs across onboarding, leadership, and skills.
• Manage skills academies and learning pathways.
• Oversee specialized initiatives including auctioneer training.
• Lead program management and employee experience across calendars, scheduling, and communications.
• Manage program budgets, vendor relationships, invoices, and related admin processes.
• Establish learning metrics and gather feedback for improvement.
