Job summary

Papa Johns is seeking a Manager, Learning Innovation to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of workforce learning experiences. The role emphasizes blended and AI-powered coaching, simulations, and adaptive content across restaurant teams, managers, and support center staff.

You will partner with Operations, HR, Technology, and AI Governance to evolve learning into immersive, performance-based development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3–5 years of learning, talent development, training technology, instructional design, or workforce development.
• Experience implementing digital learning technologies.
• Experience managing enterprise systems and vendors.
• Strong project-management and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Experience developing AI-enabled training solutions is preferred.
• Experience with generative AI platforms and AI-agent creation tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design of immersive simulations and scenario-based learning experiences for frontline restaurant and warehouse operations.
• Develop realistic operational simulations including customer service, food preparation, shift management, delivery operations, safety, and difficult interactions.
• Partner with Operations leaders to validate accuracy and business impact.
• Implement practice environments allowing team members to learn and fail before applying skills live.
• Identify and optimize learning technology opportunities including LMS, LXP, AI tools, content platforms, and analytics.
• Drive technology integration between learning, HR, and operational platforms; manage vendor relationships.
• Develop dashboards and reporting to measure learning effectiveness and outcomes.
• Oversee traditional and digital content development across programs; establish content governance standards.
• Support role-based learning pathways and career progression experiences.
• Assist with a learning-innovation roadmap aligned to business priorities; evaluate pilots and new technologies.
• Monitor industry trends in AI, learning tech, simulation, and adaptive learning; report on success metrics.
