The University of Iowa is seeking a Learning Experience & Technology Specialist to design and curate learning resources, support learning systems, and consult with university partners on learning solutions. This hybrid role focuses on accessibility and ongoing improvement of learner experiences across the campus.
Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in instructional design or educational technology, strong communication skills, and experience with learning platforms.
The Learning Experience & Technology Specialist is part of the Organizational Effectiveness team within University Human Resources and helps make employee learning effective, accessible, and sustainable across the University of Iowa. The position combines learning design, learning technology, and consultation to help employees build capability and apply learning in ways that strengthen performance. The specialist develops and curates learning resources, supports and improves the systems that enable learning, and provides learning and design expertise to colleagues across the university.

This position is eligible for hybrid work within Iowa and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment. Per policy, work arrangements will be reviewed annually, and must comply with the remote work program and related policies and employee travel policy when working at a remote location.
