Job summary

LifeLabs seeks an experienced facilitator to lead workshops worldwide in person, virtually, and in hybrid formats. You will craft safe, inclusive learning spaces and deliver training, coaching, and dialogue sessions for diverse audiences.

You’ll collaborate with client teams, adapt content for leaders and contributors, and coordinate materials and tech. Strong communication, time management, and empirical-approach training are essential.

Qualifications

• Must live in San Francisco or Bay Area.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 2+ years in a client-facing role.
• 2+ years facilitating or teaching adult learners.
• Experience in people management or leadership roles.
• Familiarity with empirical research methods.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging LifeLabs workshops worldwide in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats.
• Create psychologically safe and inclusive learning environments.
• Facilitate training, group coaching, and group dialogue sessions.
• Participate in panels, speaking engagements, and events.
• Adapt workshops to client and learner needs.
• Prepare for workshops using client context and ensure materials and tech are ready.
• Provide coverage, including same-day facilitation when needed.
• Collaborate with internal client teams on engagement and product initiatives.
• Build trust-based relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Gather feedback to improve experiences and outcomes.
• Monitor industry trends and surface risks to engagements.
• Manage timelines and deliverables with PM tools.
• Maintain facilitation standards through practice and certification.
• Contribute to facilitation-team development through research and presentations.
• Document schedule constraints, risks, and needs.
• Create a personal learning and development plan.

Job description

• Facilitate engaging, research-backed LifeLabs workshops for organizations worldwide across in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats
• Create psychologically safe and inclusive learning environments
• Facilitate training, group coaching, and group dialogue sessions
• Participate in and lead panels, speaking engagements, Skills Spotlights, and lead-generation events
• Adapt workshops to the needs of organizations and learners from individual contributors to senior leaders
• Prepare for workshops using client-specific context and ensure materials and technology are ready
• Provide planned and emergency coverage, including same-day facilitation when needed and schedule permitting
• Collaborate with internal client teams on client engagement, product innovation, and company culture initiatives
• Build trust-based relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
• Gather and apply client and learner feedback to improve experiences, solutions, and outcomes
• Monitor industry trends and surface risks to client engagements
• Manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables using project management tools
• Maintain facilitation standards through practice, observations, self-study, training, and certification
• Contribute to facilitation-team educational development through research and presentations
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate schedule constraints, risks, and needs
• Create and maintain a personal learning and development plan

Requirements

• Must live in San Francisco or Bay Area
• Bachelor’s degree required
• A current coaching certification preferred
• Graduate degree preferred
• 2 years experience in a client-facing role required
• 2 years professional experience facilitating or teaching adult learners required
• Real-world organizational or business experience in a people management/leadership capacity required
• Understanding of empirical research methods and ability to teach research-backed concepts clearly and practically
• Comfort facilitating standardized material you did not create
• Strong executive presence and adaptability
• Excellent communication and time management
• Technology fluency with Zoom, Google Workspace, and emerging AI tools
• English language proficiency
• Reliable access to a quiet, professional remote facilitation environment
• Ability to maintain 4+ open workshop slots weekly and recurring availability during high-demand time blocks
• Ability to increase availability temporarily during onboarding
• Successful completion of background check
• Verification of educational degrees and credentials
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must meet applicable confidentiality, intellectual property, and non-compete agreements
