Job summary

Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) invites applications for a full-time Learning Experience Designer - Emerging Technologies to join the CREATE Institute. The role leads exploration and integration of emerging technologies across curricula to enhance learning, engagement, and accessibility.

The position partners with faculty and IT to align initiatives with MSOE’s mission, supporting faculty in adopting digital tools and pedagogical approaches for future-ready education.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design or faculty development.
Experience with AI, AR/VR, or data analytics in education.
Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design.

Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and pilot emerging technologies relevant to teaching and learning.
Partner with IT and faculty to integrate tech into curricula and resources.
Develop a repository of tech-enhanced teaching resources.
Design and deliver workshops to support faculty adoption of new tools.
Travel to conferences focusing on emerging technologies (≈ two trips/year).
