Job summary

Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) invites applications for a full-time Learning Experience Designer - Emerging Technologies to join the CREATE Institute. This role guides adoption of AI tools, AR/VR, and analytics to elevate student learning and accessibility.

You will partner with faculty and IT to align tech initiatives with learning outcomes, supporting a future-ready educational experience at MSOE in Milwaukee.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in instructional design or faculty development.
• Experience with AI, AR/VR, or data analytics in education.
• Knowledge of pedagogical frameworks (e.g., UDL, active/experiential learning).
• Experience designing professional development for faculty.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms (Canvas, Panopto, MS Teams).
• Knowledge of copyright law, WCAG 2.1, and ADA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Emerging Technology Strategy & Implementation: identify, evaluate, pilot relevant tools.
• Partner with IT and faculty to integrate technologies into curricula.
• Develop resources and guides to support teaching with tech.
• Design workshops and professional development for faculty.
• Collaborate across units to scale tech-enabled learning initiatives.
