In this role, you’ll design and develop engaging learning experiences across multiple formats, including eLearning, instructor-led training, virtual learning, microlearning, and performance support resources. You’ll also play an important role in developing organizational procedures and job aids, administering learning content within our Learning Management System (LMS), and partnering with subject matter experts across the organization.

What You’ll Do
- Design and develop eLearning, microlearning, instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs using instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Create engaging digital learning content using Articulate Rise and other learning technologies.
- Partner with subject matter experts to identify learning needs and translate complex information into effective, learner-centered solutions.
- Manage learning projects through the full development lifecycle—from analysis and design through implementation and evaluation.
- Facilitate engaging virtual and in-person training for employees as needed.
- Adapt learning content and delivery methods for different audiences, experience levels, and learning needs.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness using feedback, assessments, completion data, and available performance indicators.
- Continuously improve learning content based on results, learner feedback, regulatory requirements, and changing business needs.
Develop Procedures & Performance Support Resources
- Lead the development, revision, and ongoing maintenance of organizational procedures and supporting documentation.
- Work with business areas and subject matter experts to understand and document workflows, processes, systems, and operational requirements.
- Create clear, consistent, and user-friendly procedures that reflect current processes, policies, systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop job aids, quick reference guides, process maps, and other performance support resources.
- Identify opportunities to make existing procedures and documentation easier for employees to understand and use.
- Perform day‑to‑day administration of the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Create, publish, update, and maintain courses and learning content.
- Manage course assignments, enrollments, learner records, and catalog information.
- Monitor course completion and prepare routine training reports.
- Troubleshoot LMS issues and provide timely support to employees.
- Maintain accurate and current learning content and records.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, organizational training, or a related field.
- 1+ year of experience designing and developing instructor‑led, virtual, or eLearning solutions.
- Knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make complex information clear and easy to understand.
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts, leaders, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and learn new technologies and systems.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Articulate Rise or similar eLearning authoring tools.
- Experience administering or supporting a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Experience developing procedures, process documentation, job aids, or other performance support resources.
- Experience working within a financial institution or other regulated industry.
- Professional training or certification in instructional design, learning and development, eLearning development, or learning technologies.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
