Job summary

The Ian Martin Group is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to architect and deliver engaging eLearning programs. You will design interactive courses using Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate, collaborate with SMEs, and align content with adult learning principles and organizational goals.

You will manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, ensure accessibility and LMS readiness across platforms, and use analytics to improve training effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or related field.
• Proficient in Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate with a portfolio of recent projects.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles, learning science, and instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.).
• Experience working within or managing Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, and responsive design.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of interactive eLearning courses using Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
• Collaborate with SMEs, stakeholders, and internal teams to identify learning needs and define learning objectives.
• Apply adult learning theories and instructional design best practices to create engaging and effective digital learning experiences.
• Manage the full learning lifecycle, from needs analysis to deployment and measurement.
• Ensure all learning materials are accessible, responsive, and optimized for various platforms (desktop, mobile, LMS).
• Evaluate learning effectiveness and use data to continuously improve content.
• Maintain quality standards for eLearning development, including branding, voice/tone, and compliance requirements.
• Stay current with emerging learning technologies, trends, and tools to drive innovation.
