Job summary

Tutor Me LA LLC is seeking passionate In-Home Special Education Tutors committed to making a difference for neurodivergent students. This part-time role involves providing tailored instruction in students' homes, aligning with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and ensuring emotional and academic support.

The ideal candidate will have a background in relevant educational fields, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs. Experience working with students with special needs is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university.
• Proven experience working with students with special needs.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging, 1:1 tutoring sessions for students with special education needs.
• Review and implement lesson plans that align with each student's IEP goals.
• Modify and adapt academic materials to fit unique learning profiles.
• Document student progress systematically and adjust instructional methods.
• Maintain communication with parents and guardians.
