Job summary

Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA) is seeking a Training Specialist to develop, maintain, and standardize training curricula across programs. You will partner with subject matter experts to design instructor-led, virtual, blended, and self-paced learning experiences, and create and update eLearning content, job aids, videos, and assessments.

You will administer learning management systems (LMS), track enrollments, reporting, and learner records; evaluate training effectiveness

Qualifications

• Experience developing training curricula for adult learners.
• Experience administering LMS or online learning platforms.
• Knowledge of instructional design, adult learning, and training evaluation.
• Proficiency with eLearning tools and content development tech.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint).
• Experience creating presentations, guides, assessments, and videos.
• Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies and software quickly.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Experience in mortgage, housing counseling, financial services, or related industry preferred.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, revise, and standardize training curricula and materials.
• Partner with subject matter experts to design instructor-led, virtual, blended, and self-paced learning.
• Create and update eLearning content, courses, aids, videos, and assessments.
• Administer LMS and training technologies, ensuring enrollment, tracking, and records.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and suggest continuous improvement actions.
• Research and recommend innovative learning technologies and practices.
• Manage training content repositories and keep materials current.
• Generate training participation, completion, certifications, and compliance reports.
• Support onboarding and professional development with structured learning paths.
• Map annual training plans for new hires and analyze outcomes for improvements.
• Understand various training methods (simulations, mentoring, on-the-job).
• Maintain tests, certifications, and reporting dashboards.
