Job summary

Union Bank in Vermont is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to design, coordinate, and deliver training across the bank. This role supports onboarding, compliance training, and employee growth within a regulated environment, with travel to branch locations for on-site training.

You'll work with a collaborative team, benefit from strong professional development, and contribute to internal promotion paths while improving staff knowledge and performance.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and presentation skills are required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Prior training and presentation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Learning & Development Specialist supports the design, coordination, and delivery of training programs within the bank. This role assists in onboarding, compliance training, and employee development initiatives, helping ensure staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in a regulated banking environment.

Some travel to branch locations will be required to provide on-site training and support.

Requirements

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software)
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Prior training and presentation skills.
• Experience as a Teller/Personal Banker is not required but preferred.
• Previous experience in training or instructional design is a plus

$21.00 to $24.00 - Based on experience.
