Job summary

Union Bank of VT & NH is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to design, coordinate, and deliver training programs across the bank. You will support onboarding, compliance training, and employee development initiatives to ensure staff thrive in a regulated banking environment.

This role involves some travel to branch locations for on-site training and collaboration with teams, promoting growth and internal advancement within the organization.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Prior training and presentation skills.
• Experience as a Teller/Personal Banker is not required but preferred.
• Previous experience in training or instructional design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate, and deliver training programs within the bank.
• Assist onboarding, compliance training, and employee development initiatives.
• Some travel to branch locations to provide on-site training and support.
• Support staff learning and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
