Job summary

IVC Evidensia is seeking a Learning & Development Partner to scope, design, and deliver learning programmes across the business. You will support leaders and managers, drive performance conversations, and collaborate with stakeholders across clinical and non-clinical functions.

The role focuses on building content grounded in leadership behaviours, delivering across formats, and measuring impact to inform continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Scoping & Learning Needs Analysis: Partner with stakeholders to understand business priorities and capability gaps; carry out learning needs analysis to define clear objectives and outcomes; scope programmes delivered at pace; recommend the right solution.
  • Programme Design: Design learning programmes for all roles and levels; apply adult learning principles; design for multiple formats; anchor content in leadership behaviours; build practical content for performance conversations.
  • Delivery & Facilitation: Facilitate learning sessions across audiences and formats; build a network of internal facilitators; manage external providers; ensure high-quality learning experience.
  • Stakeholder Partnering: Act as trusted adviser to leaders on learning; build relationships across functions; manage priorities and timelines; influence to keep programmes focused on outcomes.
  • Impact & Evaluation: Define success measures; evaluate learning effectiveness; measure business impact and report insights; use insights to improve content.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with best practice; identify opportunities to scale and digitise learning; contribute to a consistent approach across the team.

Learning & Development Partner - UK&I

Reporting into the Head of Leadership and Early Careers, the Learning and Development Partner scopes, designs and delivers learning and development programmes across the business. These programmes support colleagues in all roles and at every level.

Programmes are designed and delivered in multiple formats, from face-to-face workshops to digital and blended learning. All content is grounded in our leadership behaviours and values.
A key focus is building content that enables managers and leaders to hold effective performance, talent and career conversations. The role partners closely with stakeholders across the business, balances competing priorities, and measures the business impact of every programme.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Scoping & Learning Needs Analysis
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business priorities and capability gaps
  • Carry out learning needs analysis to define clear objectives and outcomes
  • Scope programmes that meet business needs and are deliverable at pace
  • Recommend the right solution for the need, including where learning is not the answer
Programme Design
  • Design learning programmes for all roles and levels across the business
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practice
  • Design for multiple formats, including workshops, virtual sessions, digital modules, toolkits and blended pathways
  • Ensure all content is anchored in our leadership behaviours and values
  • Build practical content that equips managers and leaders for effective performance, talent and career discussions
Delivery & Facilitation
  • Facilitate learning sessions confidently across a range of audiences and formats
  • Build and support a network of internal facilitators and subject matter experts
  • Manage external providers where specialist input is required
  • Ensure a consistent, high-quality learning experience at every touchpoint
Stakeholder Partnering
  • Act as a trusted adviser to leaders on learning and capability
  • Build strong relationships across clinical and non-clinical functions
  • Manage multiple priorities and competing demands, agreeing realistic timelines
  • Influence and challenge constructively to keep programmes focused on business outcomes
Impact & Evaluation
  • Define success measures for each programme at the point of design
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness using data, feedback and behaviour change
  • Measure the business impact of learning programmes, reporting insights to the Head of Leadership and Early Careers and programme sponsors
  • Use insight to continuously improve content, format and delivery
Continuous Improvement
  • Keep up to date with external best practice and market insight, ensuring our programmes remain market leading
  • Look for opportunities to simplify, scale and digitise learning solutions, including through AI
  • Contribute to a consistent learning approach across the wider Talent and Learning team
Experience/Qualifications:
