Today, we help clients with total transformation-inspiring complex change, enabling organizations to grow, building competitive advantage, and driving bottom-line impact.

To succeed, organizations must blend digital and human capabilities. Our diverse, global teams bring deep industry and functional expertise and a range of perspectives to spark change. BCG delivers solutions through leading-edge management consulting along with technology and design, corporate and digital ventures—and business purpose. We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.

What You'll Do

Do you love learning and creating opportunities for others to grow and develop?

Are you passionate about people development and leading a team of skilled professionals?

Do you enjoy working collaboratively across teams and building relationships?...then we want to meet you!

BCG Learning and Development (L&D) delivers a world-class learning experience that accelerates our people's development, deepens their sense of belonging, and unlocks their potential to impact our firm, our clients, and the world. Our team supports the development of OneBCG consulting team members across North America (NAMR).

This role is part of our system and office-facing System Learning Engagement (SLE) Team. As a System Learning Manager, you will collaborate with your peers across systems, Learning Topic Activation teams, Coaching@BCG, and Teaming to provide seamless learning experiences for client-facing staff. You will bring global and regional priority campaigns to life and brainstorm with the broader NAMR L&D team to develop innovative learning offerings to meet identified needs while overseeing the execution of new and existing offerings in the systems you support.

You will partner closely with local system leadership and stakeholders to maintain a strong pulse on the learning needs of the cohorts they support, while also helping them navigate the expansive L&D ecosystem and activate priority topics locally.

You will contribute as part of the broader NAMR L&D team with the end goal of developing a community of lifelong learners who advance the world.

YOU'RE GOOD AT:
  • We are looking for someone who relishes working in a fast-paced, excellence-driven team and who has a passion for learning, people development and delivering outstanding customer service.
To be successful in this role, you must:
  • Enjoy working collaboratively with a wide range of customers and senior stakeholders, including cross‑functional People Team members, office leadership, MDPs, your direct reports, and the broader System Learning Team and internal NAMR L&D team members
  • Be a strategic thinker and enjoy working with your stakeholders and L&D leadership to innovate, develop content, and solve problems
  • Be a strong developer of people, willing to deeply invest in your team's professional and career development, as well as creating a strong sense of teaming among the broader L&D team
  • Seek to develop and challenge yourself in a diverse team setting with constantly evolving curricula, processes, and operational norms
World class learning experiences for client-facing staff
  • Oversee and manage:
    • Local/System execution of in-person programming across your assigned systems (two geographic systems) as part of the broader learning journey curriculum
    • System-specific, ad hoc, and campaign related program development & execution
    • Navigation of cohort‑specific client‑facing staff to appropriate learning resources
    • Learning experiences and content that models OneBCG and BCG's values
    • Hold full decision rights for learning operations, budget utilization, and FTE resource deployment across your assigned systems
    • Develop deep knowledge and expertise of the needs of all served cohorts and businesses
Stakeholder engagement and management with System Leadership
  • Serve as the primary L&D point of contact for 6 offices and their stakeholder networks, including Office Leaders (OLs), Business Management Leaders (BMLs), L&D MDPs, Talent Managers (TMs), Career Development Advisors (CDAs), and CD BST
  • Partner with System or Office L&D MDPs to enhance the learning culture and participation in your systems
  • Build strong relationships with Office Business Management Leaders (BMLs) and collect ongoing feedback on consulting team experiences and learning journeys
  • Engage in strategic discussions on learning needs with System BMLs and provide input to broader NAMR L&D team
Leadership and Teaming across People Functions (stakeholder experience)
  • Respond to new or acute learning needs by partnering with Manager peers and/or Learning Topic Activation and Coaching team members to share relevant content or rapidly create new content as needed
  • Serve as primary contact for System HR, CD & Staffing team collaboration
  • Contribute to broader cross‑functional efforts, partnering cross‑People Team on relevant priorities and initiatives
  • Play a senior role in the broader SLE team experience and L&D teaming environment
Operational efficiency, climate, and continuous improvement
  • Develop a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and responsiveness
  • Sustain exceptional program feedback and drive improvements when necessary
  • Own and manage system budget to meet CT needs while remaining aligned to regional L&D priorities
  • Leverage our dashboards and data to drive to deeper insights
Talent Management and People Development
  • Own the leadership and talent development of 2+ CS2/CS3 direct reports, with accountability for their performance, growth, and career progression
  • Establish explicit System sub-team norms and cultivate an inclusive team environment
  • Provide on‑going feedback to team members and actively participate in the L&D and Teaming Development Committee (LTDC) process
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by NAMR L&D Leadership
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree with at least five years of relevant business experience, preferably in learning and development, career development, recruiting, or other people‑related functions
  • People Management and leadership experience, preferably in a professional services firm context.
  • Senior stakeholder management and demonstrated ability to manage large projects with ambiguity
  • Hands‑on experience with GenAI tools and AI‑powered learning platforms
  • Proven ability to design and scale learning or upskilling initiatives end‑to‑end, with measurable business outcomes
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to flex style across levels
  • Highest ethical standards and ability to respect all BCG and employee information as personal and confidential
Who You'll Work With

You will be part of a large NAMR L&D team that supports over 4,500 non‑MDP core, expert and SBU consulting team members across North America and delivers over 200 local training programs a year.

The team values a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive environment and thrives on a sense of pride and ownership for the work that they do. A strong emphasis is placed not only on the development of our learners, but on the development of team members as well.
