Job summary

Kemper CPA Group LLP in Evansville, IN seeks a Learning and Development Specialist to lead the firm’s L&D initiatives within the Administrative Services Department. The role is full-time with overtime during peak seasons, delivering live and virtual training and managing the LMS LCvista.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in a professional role, preferably in public accounting, with strong communication and plan-development abilities and a CPA/HR/L&D designation preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in learning and development, HR, accounting, or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Two to four years in a professional role with individual accountability.
• Public accounting or professional service firm experience preferred.
• CPA, HR, or L&D designation preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver live and virtual firm-wide learning and development curriculum.
• Develop annual calendar, catalog, and manage learning events and CPE processes.
• Engage external providers and internal instructors for courses.
• Serve as training instructor for live or recorded events as needed.
• Coordinate leadership development programs and CPA Exam support.
• Create individualized learning plans aligned with career paths.
• Maintain and improve LMS (LCvista) and ensure compliance with CPE requirements.
• Collaborate with HR and Training Committee; assist with HR projects.
