Job summary

Alpha hires teachers (guides), operators, admissions experts, school & curriculum leaders, and remote team members. This on-site L&D Manager role centers on coaching excellence and developing Guides to turn students into confident, resilient learners.

You will lead life skills workshops, coach performance, and manage a cohort of students, aligning with Alpha's mission to build leadership and extraordinary outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, youth leadership, or related field.
• Has directly managed one or more adult employees on an ongoing basis.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Build a coaching culture where Guides develop students who love school and master academics.
• Lead engaging life skills workshops covering communication, focus, leadership, and resilience for K-8 students.
• Use performance data to identify opportunities, remove barriers, and drive improvements weekly.
• Lead motivation sessions to help students own ambitious goals and achieve them.
• Maintain your own student cohort while modeling coaching excellence and accountability.
