Job summary

Lonza, Greenwood, South Carolina, is seeking an Operational Excellence Lead to drive continuous improvement across Quality, Safety, Productivity and Cost. You will champion site training initiatives, manage the learning management system, and lead Kaizen events to optimize processes.

This role reports to the Site Director and supports multi-site operations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree with Lean Six Sigma experience, strong communication, and the ability to lead teams across all

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Green belt or higher certification preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage teams and lead colleagues in the completion of goals.
• Must be able to interact with colleagues at all levels of the business.

Responsibilities

• Develops and leads the training and development program for the site focused on strategic initiatives to generate organizational benefit.
• Studies training and learning process to identify opportunities aligned with Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost.
• Manages the learning management tool, creates and maintains reports, tracks and ensures site's training compliance.
• Implements and monitors training and development indicators to measure progress and identify initiatives to improve.
• Lead and facilitate Kaizen events, workshops and team collaboration to improve training methods and materials.
• Works closely with the corporate network sharing learnings from training and development projects and process.
