Job summary

Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County is seeking a Learning & Development Intern to design engaging training experiences for staff and volunteers. This unpaid, part-time role allows college students to apply their skills in a nonprofit environment while learning about trauma-informed practices and organizational development.

The internship offers flexible hours to accommodate class schedules and includes mentorship from experienced leaders. Ideal candidates should be enrolled in relevant studies with strong writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college, ideally in upper-division undergraduate or graduate studies.
• Strong writing, communication, and design skills are crucial.
• Open to learning, collaborating, and growing in a faith-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in writing and designing training modules.
• Help prepare materials for training sessions.
• Conduct research on best practices in adult learning.
