Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Training Generalist in Ocala, FL to drive teammate development. You will create and deliver training, assess learning needs, and collaborate with the L&OD team to implement programs that improve productivity and safety.

This role emphasizes on-the-job training, workshops, and eLearning to support career growth. Responsibilities include facilitating trainings, maintaining records in the ELM system, performing needs analyses, and delivering Train-the-Trainer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 5+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• 3 years of experience in learning and development, preferably in a warehouse environment.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for conducting training sessions and leadership communication.
• Proficiency with office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with an LMS (ELM in McLane).
• Familiar with warehouse and transportation operations, technology, and software.

Responsibilities

• Provide just-in-time training solutions aligned with Division goals and teammate learning needs.
• Identify learning gaps via needs analysis and observation in collaboration with the L&OD team.
• Conduct performance consulting to determine if gaps are training-related and pursue interventions.
• Deliver training and training material via the ELM system and maintain records.
• Create and deliver Train-the-Trainer sessions for Operations and Transportation trainers.
• Generate learning and audit reports and support safety and regulatory compliance.
