Job description

Overview

The Learning & Development Facilitator is a high-impact role with significant exposure across the firm, including managers, professionals, and teams. In this role, you will facilitate learning for audiences ranging from summer interns and early-career employees to experienced managers. You will be equally comfortable leading a student program in the morning and facilitating a management development session in the afternoon, adapting your approach and presence to meet the needs of each audience.

You will build a program from the ground up and quickly learn and deliver curriculum developed by someone else, making each session relevant, engaging, and practical. Success requires credibility and confidence to engage highly analytical audiences across technology, trading, and operations, including people who will ask challenging questions and expect thoughtful, practical answers.

The generalist L&D role combines facilitation, instructional design, and program delivery. You will be a core member of the global L&D team, collaborating with colleagues to deliver a shared internal curriculum rather than managing a dedicated business-group relationship. Whether you develop a program yourself, learn it from a colleague, or use externally sourced content, you will deliver it with consistent confidence and quality.

In This Role, You Will:

Facilitate Across a Wide Range of Audiences

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality sessions across student and intern programs, early-career and professional development curricula, and management development programs.
  • Confidently engage participants across technical and business functions, respond thoughtfully to challenging questions, and adapt in the moment.
  • Build credibility and trust quickly with participants at every career stage and across departments.

Design and Develop Training Content

  • Design instructionally sound learning modules for a fast-paced organization where employees have limited time.
  • Develop practical, relevant content grounded in real business scenarios and supported by evidence.
  • Create facilitator guides, participant materials, activities, and assessments that support consistent delivery across the team.

Build eLearning and Blended Learning Solutions

  • Design and develop eLearning modules and other digital learning resources using standard authoring tools.
  • Combine live facilitation with self-paced and digital learning components to create cohesive learning experiences.
  • Maintain and refresh existing digital content as programs and business needs evolve.

Deliver and Improve a Shared Internal Curriculum

  • Take responsibility for preparing and delivering training developed independently, created by L&D colleagues, or sourced externally.
  • Learn new content quickly and deliver it with the same confidence and command as content you develop yourself.
  • Partner with L&D colleagues to refine programs based on participant feedback, learning outcomes, and business needs.

Collaborate Across the Business and Global L&D Team

  • Develop an understanding of departments such as technology, trading, and operations to make learning relevant and practical.
  • Collaborate with L&D colleagues across regions to share content, coordinate delivery, and align programs with global frameworks and standards.

What we’re looking for
  • Eight or more years of experience in corporate training, facilitation, or learning and development. A formal instructional design certification is not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate confidently and effectively across audiences ranging from interns and early-career employees to experienced professionals and managers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the presence and credibility to engage highly analytical audiences in a fast-paced environment.
  • A practical, analytical mindset and the ability to determine what a learning solution needs to accomplish.
  • Hands‑on experience applying sound instructional design practices to create experiential, scenario-based, and case study-based learning.
  • Experience creating eLearning modules using authoring tools such as Articulate Rise or similar platforms, strongly preferred.
  • Ability to build credibility across business functions such as technology, trading, and operations.
  • Confidence in both creating original content and learning and delivering curricula developed by others.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a global L&D team, including sharing content and coordinating delivery across regions.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple programs and competing priorities.
  • A generalist mindset and enthusiasm for working across a variety of topics and audiences.
