Aquent is partnering with a leading healthcare organization to design, build, and maintain engaging digital learning content and blended solutions for internal teams and sales professionals alike.

The role applies adult learning theory and the ADDIE framework to transform complex product specifications into effective training materials while ensuring QMS and regulatory alignment. This is a temporary, impactful opportunity within a dynamic, forward-thinking team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, a scientific/technical field, business, or a related course of study.
• 4+ years of professional experience in training development, instructional design, or interactive digital content creation.
• Solid understanding of adult learning theory, systematic instructional design methodologies, and curriculum alignment.
• Hands-on proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate, Camtasia, Powtoon) and audio/video editing.

Responsibilities

• Design, produce, and update digital learning assets for online, vILT, and blended environments.
• Apply ADDIE and adult learning theory to transform complex product specs into engaging materials.
• Ensure content standards, branding, legal accuracy, and grammatical precision.
• Maintain QMS compliance across assets aligned with US regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with PMs, Trainers, SMEs, and global teams to source content.
• Build interactive media using rapid authoring tools and publish assets within learning platform.

What You'll Do

• Design, produce, and update a variety of digital learning assets, including e-learning modules, micro-learning components, and rich media, for online, virtual instructor-led (vILT), and blended learning environments.
• Apply robust adult learning theories and systematic instructional design methodologies, such as the ADDIE framework, to transform complex technical and product specifications into engaging and effective learning materials.
• Ensure strict adherence to content standards, managing interdepartmental review cycles for branding consistency, legal accuracy, and grammatical precision.
• Maintain compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements across all developed assets, ensuring alignment with US regulatory standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Project Managers, Trainer/Designers, technical subject matter experts (SMEs), and global teams to gather essential content and script instructional assets.
• Build interactive media using industry-standard rapid authoring tools and support the seamless publishing of assets within the learning platform infrastructure.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, a scientific/technical field, business, or a related course of study.
• 4+ years of professional experience in training development, instructional design, or interactive digital content creation.
• Solid foundational understanding of adult learning theory, systematic instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE framework), and curriculum alignment.
• Hands-on proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, and Powtoon, along with audio/video editing software, and practical experience with emerging AI development features.
• Demonstrated experience working within a regulated industry (e.g., diagnostics, IVD, healthcare, or medical devices) with familiarity in QMS requirements, document control, and ISO standards.
• Proven ability to manage a complex multi-project workload independently under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work an 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST schedule.
• Authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment.
• Ability to work on a W-2 basis (C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position).

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Prior experience delivering learning content tailored specifically for sales teams and internal support staff across varied product lines.
• Demonstrated experience executing instructional editing on complex, highly technical inputs from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
