Job summary

Aquent is seeking a Learning Developer (Temporary) to design, build, and maintain interactive digital learning content for product launches across diverse audiences in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include applying ADDIE-based instructional design, adhering to T&D standards, and coordinating with SMEs and global teams to create engaging assets. Work hours align with EST, and the role is a temporary assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, a scientific/technical field, business, or related course of study.
• 4+ years of professional experience in training development, instructional design, or interactive digital content creation.
• Solid foundational understanding of adult learning theory, systematic instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE framework), and curriculum alignment.
• Hands-on proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Powtoon), audio-video editing software, and practical emerging AI development features.
• Demonstrated experience working within a regulated industry (e.g., diagnostics, IVD, healthcare, or medical devices) with familiarity in QMS requirements, document control, and ISO standards.
• Proven ability to manage a complex multi-project workload independently under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST schedule.

• Design, produce, and update digital learning assets, e-learning modules, micro-learning components, and media for online, virtual instructor-led (vILT), and blended learning environments.
• Apply adult learning theory and systematic instructional design methodologies (such as the ADDIE framework) to transform technical and product specifications into engaging learning materials.
• Maintain strict adherence to Training & Development (T&D) content standards and manage interdepartmental review cycles for branding, legal language, and grammar adherence.
• Follow Quality Management System (QMS) requirements across all developed assets to ensure alignment with US regulatory standards.
• Collaborate cross-functional with T&D Project Managers, Trainer/Designers, technical subject matter experts (SMEs), and global teams to gather content and script instructional assets.
• Build interactive media using standard rapid authoring tools and support the publishing of assets within the learning platform infrastructure.

Aquent is partnering with a major Healthcare company to find a Learning Developer for a Temporary opportunity. In this high-impact role, you will act as an Adult Learning Expert and consultant to design, build, and maintain interactive digital learning content and blended solutions for product launches across diverse audiences.

Eligibility

• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
• Be able to work on a W-2 basis (C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position)

Compensation

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $35–$40/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
