The Learning Design Professional II analyzes and organizes content, designs solutions, and assists in writing all training content development for the Member Services alignment. This individual partners with Senior Learning Design Professionals to analyze learning needs, provide input for course content, and develop business solutions. They write effective learning objectives, coordinate performance assessments to measure training effectiveness, and ensure course materials are current and relevant. Responsibilities also include maintaining and updating resources, scheduling reviews of training modules, tracking changes, and analyzing training effectiveness through learner engagement, proficiency testing, and job performance improvements. The role involves developing basic online learning materials and remote instructor-led courses, utilizing collaborative tools, and adhering to guidelines to support organizational performance and compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 3 years of technical or instructional design experience
  • Experience with learning strategies and adult learning theories
  • Commitment to improving member and associate experiences
  • Proficiency with instructional designing tools and content development
  • Experience with instructional design models like ADDIE
  • Excellent communication skills

Work-At-Home Requirements

  • Minimum internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
  • Use of approved internet connection types; satellite, cellular, microwave only if approved
  • For residents in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota, bi-weekly internet expense reimbursement
  • Provision of appropriate telephone equipment
  • Dedicated work space free from interruptions to protect PHI/HIPAA information

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree in Business, Learning, Education, Human Resources, or related fields
  • Instructional Design certification
  • Experience in healthcare or corporate settings
  • Knowledge of curriculum design and adult learning principles

Additional Information

  • Participation in HireVue assessments via text, email, or video
  • Remote role with occasional travel for training or meetings

Pay Range

$59,300 - $80,900 per year, commensurate with experience and location. Eligible for bonuses based on performance.
