Job summary

Ware Malcomb is seeking a Learning Content Associate to support internal training and development programs. You will assist in preparing and editing video content, manage training logistics, and support company-wide learning initiatives.

You will collaborate with the Knowledge Manager to update courses in the LMS, track completions, and ensure accurate reporting. The role involves coordinating sessions, collecting feedback, and promoting learning through internal channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in education, organizational development, HR, or related field.
  • 1–2 years in development training programs or instructional design.
  • Basic instructional design skills; exposure to e-learning and self-guided learning.
  • Familiarity with program coordination.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency with Canva and Office Suite; proactive learning.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and editing training videos (trimming, basic effects).
  • Support LMS maintenance: update courses, communications, track completions, reporting.
  • Maintain onboarding content; collaborate with teams to ensure accuracy; collect feedback.
  • Assist presenters with logistics and content for in-person and on-demand sessions (WMU, mentoring).
  • Analyze training effectiveness by collecting feedback and performance data.
  • Maintain training calendar; act as master scheduler for company learning programs.
  • Promote learning initiatives via The Hub, WM Leader Newsletter, MS Teams.
  • Apply training courses for continuing education credits; track status and approvals.

Job description

The Learning Content Associate is a collaborative and detail-oriented role supporting Ware Malcomb’s internal training and development programs. Reporting to the Knowledge Manager, you will play a key role in enhancing team member development, productivity, and performance through engaging learning content. You will assist in preparing and editing video content, managing training logistics, and supporting company wide learning initiatives.

Your Role
  • Assist in preparing and editing training videos, including trimming, adding basic effects, and ensuring quality. Training on editing tools will be provided.
  • Support the Knowledge Manager in maintaining the LMS by updating courses, managing communications, tracking completions, and ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Maintain and update onboarding content, collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy, and collect feedback to improve the new hire experience.
  • Assist internal presenters with logistics and content preparation for in-person and on-demand sessions, including Ware Malcomb University (WMU), the WM Mentoring Program, and other companywide initiatives.
  • Help analyze the effectiveness of training programs by collecting feedback and performance data to support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain the training calendar and serve as the master scheduler for all companywide learning and development programs.
  • Promote learning initiatives through internal channels such as The Hub (Ware Malcomb’s intranet), the WM Leader Newsletter, MS Teams, and other communication platforms.
  • Assist with applying training courses for continuing education credits, tracking application status, and communicating approvals firmwide.
  • Support the Knowledge Manager in organizing and maintaining training content and knowledge-sharing resources on The Hub.
  • Stay informed on trends and best practices in Learning & Development to support innovation and relevance in training programs.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the Strategic Initiatives team as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as educational sciences, organizational development, human resources, or other related fields.
  • 1-2 years of work experience, which includes development training programs or instructional design.
  • Basic instructional design skills, preferably with exposure to e-learning and self-guided learning.
  • Familiarity with program coordination.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to stay highly organized and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and contribute to collective goals.
  • Ability to work independently under general supervision and effectively prioritize workload.
  • Proficiency in using software applications such as Canva and the Office Suite; tech-savvy with a strong inclination towards continuous learning.

$21 - $27 an hour (plus benefits).

This is a full-time, long-term position.
