Job summary

Cuyahoga Community College is seeking part-time support staff to assist in Learning Commons operations across the Eastern Campus. Responsibilities include administering tests, tutoring support, and managing library/reserves materials, with emphasis on customer service and troubleshooting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, plus 3 years of office experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree, AV experience, Extron certification, and familiarity with Banner/OhioLINK.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED is required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in an office setting, performing customer service or desktop support functions.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for preferred qualifications.
• Two years of A/V experience with Extron Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers College tests such as placement and student makeup exams on campus or off-site.
• Inputs placement scores into Banner.
• Schedules tutoring, testing, and proctoring appointments.
• Provides support for library circulation desk functions and OhioLINK orders.
• Performs campus repairs, maintenance and testing of campus equipment.
• Provides training workshops to students, faculty, and staff on site technologies.
