Job summary

The Cuyahoga Community College Learning Commons is seeking a part-time support staff member to assist in the Testing Center, Tutoring Services, Library, Media Services, and TLC/OpenLab. You will administer tests on campus and off-site, schedule appointments, and support library circulation and IT services.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, providing courteous customer service, assisting with user logon support, and helping with special events and equipment setup as needed.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in an office setting, performing customer service or desktop support functions.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or two years AV experience and related certification.

Responsibilities

• Administers College tests such as placement and student makeup exams both on campus and off-site as needed.
• Administers other institutional exams such as credit by exams (i.e. CLEP).
• Inputs placement scores into Banner.
• Schedules tutoring, testing, and proctoring appointments.
• Provides support for library circulation desk functions, including reserves and OhioLINK orders.
• Maintains accurate and complete records of the Learning Commons.
• Assists with college-wide user logon support and print management.
• Provides training workshops to students, faculty, and staff on technology.
