Job summary

Alpha seeks a Learning Coach to drive literacy outcomes for K-3 students. You will mentor half a day with app-based core learning and half the day with targeted reading sessions, guiding students from launch to closing on campus.

You’ll diagnose gaps using running records and fluency data, design short sequences, and ensure transfer to the classroom. On-site work is required with relocation support available.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years working directly with children ages 4-9
• At least 2 years teaching reading in grades K-3 within the last 5 years
• Completed structured-literacy training or a master’s in reading or literacy
• Bachelor’s degree; teaching certificate not required
• Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Get every K-3 student to daily learning goals and close reading gaps
• Lead targeted structured-literacy sessions with small groups
• Guide students through app-based learning and campus routines
• Maintain daily progress data and communicate gaps to parents
• Relate to families with weekly data and plan next steps
