Job summary

Alpha is hiring on-site Roles to coach K-3 students, focusing on life-skills like public speaking, focus, and feedback. You will run workshops and provide individualized coaching using Coachbot analytics to help each child reach ambitious weekly goals.

We seek a candidate with at least 3 years working with children, a Bachelor’s degree, and the ability to motivate learners. This full-time role reports to campus leadership and offers relocation support across multiple California campuses.

Qualifications

• On-site work at Alpha campuses (Palo Alto, Malibu, San Francisco, CA) with relocation assistance.
• Bachelor's degree in any subject.
• At least 3 years of experience working with children ages 4-9 in teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, or similar settings.
• Experience leading group activities for young children with engaging routines.
• Track record of motivating children to achieve challenging goals with concrete examples.
• Ability to adjust approach based on feedback and outcomes.
• Comfort using AI-powered learning while focusing on coaching and life-skill development.
• Warmth balanced with high expectations and energizing storytelling.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging life-skills workshops for K-3 students on communication, focus, and feedback.
• Coach students one-on-one and in small groups using analytics and motivation systems.
• Assess life-skill mastery using Alpha's Test2Pass framework until real understanding is shown.
• Adapt coaching style to the cohort's developmental needs across ages 4-9.
• Build strong relationships that encourage students to stretch beyond their goals.
