Job summary

The Kumon Center Assistant supports the daily academic and operational activities of the Kumon Center. This role works directly with students, parents, and other staff members to create a positive, organized, and productive learning environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or currently enrolled in high school.
• Strong math and reading skills.
• Ability to work effectively with children and teenagers.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with daily Kumon Math and Reading assignments.
• Observe students and provide guidance to promote independent thinking.
• Grade worksheets and record scores and times.
• Maintain organized student folders and materials.
• Help with check-in, dismissal, and classroom setup.
• Support students’ progress and communicate concerns to staff.
• Provide courteous customer service to parents and students.
