Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking an L&OD Coordinator to provide operational, administrative, and program support for leadership development, employee engagement, and culture initiatives. You will coordinate learning programs, events, and department activities, ensure data accuracy, manage logistics, and deliver a positive participant experience in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Onsite attendance is required in Philadelphia two days per week, with a possible additional day in Allentown.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Communications or related field.
  • 1 year of experience supporting learning and development programs, training coordination, or related functions.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Psychology or related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate calendars, meetings, events, and program logistics for L&OD leaders, facilitators, and departmental activities.
  • Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support for L&OD programs, initiatives, and departmental activities.
  • Coordinate learning and development programs, including scheduling, registration, participant communications, materials preparation, attendance tracking, and evaluation administration.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, culture, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Generate and maintain reports, dashboards, and program metrics related to learning participation, development activities, and departmental outcomes.
  • Support talent management processes, including performance management, goal-setting, leadership development, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.
  • Administer and maintain learning technologies and related systems, ensuring accurate data, participant records, and reporting capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and assist with documenting, updating, and enhancing departmental processes, procedures, and program resources.
  • Process invoices, purchase requests, vendor documentation, and departmental expenses in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.

Number of Positions In Requisition 1 Job Details The Learning & Organizational Development (L&OD) Coordinator provides operational, administrative, and program support to advance organizational learning, leadership development, employee engagement, and culture initiatives. This role serves as a key partner in coordinating learning programs, development experiences, events, and organizational effectiveness activities that support workforce growth and organizational priorities. The coordinator ensures seamless program delivery, maintains data and reporting accuracy, manages logistics, and contributes to a positive participant experience while supporting department initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Onsite attendance

Onsite attendance is required: candidates must be able to work in Philadelphia two days per week, with the possibility of one additional day onsite in Allentown, PA.

Coordinate calendars, meetings, events, and program logistics for L&OD leaders, facilitators, and departmental activities, including facility arrangements, materials, and vendor coordination.

Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support for Learning & Organizational Development (L&OD) programs, initiatives, and departmental activities.

Coordinate learning and development programs, including scheduling, registration, participant communications, materials preparation, attendance tracking, and evaluation administration.

Support employee engagement, recognition, culture, and organizational effectiveness initiatives that enhance the employee experience and support organizational priorities.

Generate and maintain reports, dashboards, and program metrics related to learning participation, development activities, and departmental outcomes; assist with data analysis and program evaluation.

Support annual talent management processes, including performance management, goal-setting, leadership development, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.

Administer and maintain learning technologies and related systems, ensuring accurate data, participant records, and reporting capabilities.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and assist with documenting, updating, and enhancing departmental processes, procedures, and program resources.

Process invoices, purchase requests, vendor documentation, and departmental expenses in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.

Participate in L&OD initiatives, special projects, and cross-functional efforts while serving as a resource to leaders, team members, and program participants regarding learning and development opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Communications, or a related field. 1 year of experience supporting learning and development programs, training coordination, organizational development initiatives, project coordination, administration, event management, or customer service functions.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Psychology, or a related field.

Additional Qualifications

Demonstrated experience providing executive administrative support, including scheduling, meeting management, event planning, vendor coordination, program administration, and departmental activities.

Physical Demands

Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
