Job summary

Gordon Food Service is offering a 12-week paid internship at our Home Office in the United States. You will gain hands-on experience across Learning and Development, mentored by professionals and exposed to various departments.

You will help create training content, assist with event logistics, and participate in performance calibration and succession planning activities, while building practical skills for your career path.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Responsibilities

• Help create, edit, format, and update training materials, presentations, and digital learning modules.
• Work with trainers to support session materials, event logistics, and attendee feedback collection.
• Prepare data, templates, and notes for performance calibration meetings.
• Support succession planning, updating tracking sheets and pipeline data as needed.

Working alongside our Learning and Development team that serves our customers, employees, and partners across North America and Canada. Collaborating with other Gordon Food Service interns and employees in the following areas:

• Marketing & Merchandising
• Supply Chain
• Sales

Build a Career:

In the Learning and Development department by:

• Helping create, edit, format, and update training materials, presentations, and digital learning modules.
• Working with trainers to support preparation of session materials, coordination of event logistics, and collection of attendee feedback.
• Participating and assisting with preparing data, templates, and notes for performance calibration meetings.
• Participating in GFS succession planning process, including (as needed) updating succession tracking sheets, pipeline data and supporting succession planning business meetings.
