Job summary

Gordon Food Service is offering a 12-week paid internship at our Home Office in the United States. You will gain hands-on experience across multiple departments, with mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities.

You will support Level 1 IT operations, manage hardware break/fix processes, and contribute to dashboard/reporting initiatives to visualize operational data. The program emphasizes mentorship, community involvement, and skill development.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree (degree field not specified).
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 IT support across network, Android, and Linux environments.
• Manage depot break/fix processes for store hardware, including PCs, scanners, and RF guns; coordinate replacements and repairs.
• Contribute to a department process-improvement project by designing dashboards or reporting tools to visualize key operational data.

Build a Career:

In the Store Support department by:

• Providing Level 1 IT support and utilize IT monitoring tools to ensure system stability and uptime across network, Android, and Linux environments.
• Managing depot break/fix processes for store hardware-including PCs, scanners, and RF guns-by configuring replacement devices, tracking shipping logistics, and coordinating repairs with third-party service providers.
• Contributing to a department process-improvement project by identifying repeatable functionality and designing an analytical dashboard or reporting tool to visualize key operational da ta.
