Job summary

Breeze Airways in Tampa, FL seeks an experienced airline pilot to command Lear 45 aircraft, maintain flight safety, and ensure regulatory compliance under FARs. The role requires ongoing proficiency, risk assessment, and crew leadership to deliver safe, efficient service.

The candidate must hold an FAA ATP with multi-engine rating, 2,500+ total hours including 1,000+ PIC hours and 500 hours jet, plus a current First-Class medical certificate and FCC Radiotelephone permit.

Qualifications

• Requires FAA ATP certificate with multi-engine rating; must hold current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate.
• Requires valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit and U.S. passport.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA background checks and breeze HR clearances.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, timely completion of flight operations per FARs and company policies.
• Verify airworthiness, review weather, field conditions, and navigational factors before flight.
• Supervise crew and enroute performance; ensure proper pre/post-flight inspections.
• Communicate weather or turbulence to crew and passengers promptly.
• Adhere to company playbooks, assess risk, and perform other duties as assigned.
