Job summary

Breeze Airways in the United States seeks a Lear 45 Captain to lead safe, timely flight operations under FARs and company policies. You will supervise crew, ensure airworthiness, and plan each flight with focus on safety and efficiency.

The role requires 2,500+ total hours, ATP with multi-engine rating, First-Class medical, and unrestricted US work authorization. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential for success in our operation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 23 years old at hire.
• FAA Unrestricted Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with airplane multi-engine rating.
• Must have 2,500+ hours total time (not including simulator/Flight Engineer time).
• Must have minimum: 1,000 hours fixed wing PIC, 1,000 hours fixed wing multi-engine, 500 hours fixed wing jet, 500 hours multicrew.
• Current First-Class FAA Medical Certificate.
• Valid FCC Radiotelephone Operator’s Permit.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and a valid passport.
• Must be able to travel unrestricted to and from the United States.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug test and Breeze background checks.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safe, timely flight operations per FARs and Company policies.
• Operate assigned flights and assess airworthiness and weather/field conditions.
• Supervise and enroute performance of other crewmembers.
• Maintain proficiency and knowledge of flight operations and systems.
• Conduct pre- and post-flight inspections to ensure airworthiness.
• Plan and fuel flights safely per regulations and policies.
• Assist with handling of aircraft, passengers, baggage, and cargo when needed.
• Notify crew and passengers of turbulence or adverse weather promptly.
• Adhere to Company Playbooks and safety culture.
