Qualifications

• Holds a current Louisiana teaching certificate.
• Holds a current teaching certificate from another state.
• Alternative Certification Candidate may qualify per program.

Responsibilities

• Teach middle/high school subjects with modified methods for students with disabilities.
• Develop and implement IEPs, monitor progress, and assess learning.
• Collaborate with parents, general educators, and specialists to support student success.
• Maintain classroom management and create an accessible learning environment.
