Job summary

Generac Power Systems is seeking a Value Stream Manager to lead daily operations and continuous improvements within the manufacturing value stream in Wisconsin. The role focuses on applying the Generac Manufacturing System (GMS) to ensure safe work, high quality, and efficient flow from planning to delivery.

The manager will develop a qualified team, drive cost reductions, and coordinate NPI launches while aligning with company strategy and improving metrics across safety, quality, and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field OR equivalent experience
• 5 years progressive operations or lean management experience

Responsibilities

• Lead the Value Stream in daily operations and continuous improvement activities.
• Emphasize the creation of continuous product flow and pull systems where flow is not possible.
• Ensure standardized work/processes are followed and improvements implemented.
• Develop and execute short and long range continuous improvement plans.
• Lead and coordinate successful launch of New Product Introductions (NPI) within Operations.
