Job summary

Generac is seeking a Value Stream Manager in Sussex, WI to lead day-to-day operations in our manufacturing system. You will drive continuous improvement, build a high-performing team, and deliver metrics across safety, quality, delivery and cost.

You will champion standardized work, PDCA, and Lean principles, coach team members, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to meet daily, monthly, and yearly goals while reducing lead times and inventories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field OR equivalent experience.
• 5 years progressive operations or lean management experience.
• 3 years demonstrated implementation experience in Lean principles.
• Experience with SAP or ERP system.
• Demonstrated leadership with a diversity of team skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Value Stream in daily operations and continuous improvement activities; drive flow and level workloads.
• Ensure standardized work/processes are followed and safety improvements are driven.
• Develop and coach the team; align objectives with company strategy and drive performance.
