Job summary

Ventek Solutions in Owosso, MI is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist. You will lead Lean manufacturing initiatives, facilitate Kaizen events, and drive cross-functional process improvements across operations and support functions.

The role focuses on waste reduction, standardization, and data-driven decision making, with up to 50% travel to multiple facilities. Onsite in Owosso, MI, no remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations or related field preferred.
• 2+ years in manufacturing or continuous improvement roles.
• Experience deploying Lean and leading Kaizen events.
• Ability to analyze workflows and drive data-based improvements.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean manufacturing initiatives across operations and support functions.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, VSM, root cause analysis and cross-functional problem solving.
• Drive waste reduction, process optimization and better workflow efficiency.
• Develop and sustain standardized work, visual management, and process controls.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze trends, and develop reporting tools.
• Coach and train teams on Lean methods and change management.
