Job summary

Axillon Aerospace is seeking an Operational Excellence Specialist to drive continuous improvement across our manufacturing sites in the United States. You will lead lean initiatives, Kaizen events and value stream mapping, and analyze process data to measure impact.

Training and mentoring staff on tools and methodologies are required. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of experience in lean manufacturing, familiarity with Six Sigma, and change management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years of experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement.
• Experience with Kaizen events and Six Sigma.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
• Change management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Axillon Operating System lean principles and teamwork.
• Lead continuous improvement projects such as Kaizen events and Value Stream Mapping.
• Analyze, measure and report manufacturing process effectiveness.
• Train employees in continuous improvement tools and techniques.
• Provide recommendations and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate new technologies to support engineering business processes.
• Assist in maintaining a safe production environment.
• Exercise independent judgment in significant matters.
