Job summary
CRH Americas Building Products seeks a process-improvement professional to lead lean manufacturing projects across Texas plants. The role drives profitability, throughput and quality improvements in collaboration with Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and EHS.
Expect 75%–90% travel across state locations. You will partner with operations and sales to implement lean initiatives and capital investments, mentoring plant teams and guiding process change through ROI analysis and project
Qualifications
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience in precast or similar settings.
- Proven experience applying lean manufacturing to continuous production operations.
- Experience with quality control in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop, evaluate and improve production methods using lean tools and quality standards.
- Identify opportunities to apply lean and capital investments to improve profitability.
- Provide training and mentoring to plant-level teams on lean processes.
- Drive process changes with cross-functional plant teams.
- Optimize plant layout to reduce waste and costs.
- Lead capability and bottleneck analyses to improve throughput.
- Teach kaizen, 5S, and lean techniques.
