Job summary

Wesco in Pittsburgh is seeking a Manager - LEAN to lead the delivery of improvement programs across our global business, partnering with sales, commercial and other functions to deploy Lean principles and business system components.

You will coach leaders, drive end-to-end improvements, advance Hoshin Kanri deployment, track progress and outcomes and help embed sustainable performance, process and behaviors while enabling revenue growth and cost reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in engineering, logistics, technical or equivalent years of related experience.
• Lean certifications preferred.
• Experience leading Lean improvements in medium or large organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of larger end-to-end improvements with balance of quality, performance, engagement and urgency.
• Build relationships with leaders to sell and create demand for Lean and drive adoption.
• Coach Lean methods with commercial stakeholders to resolve business problems within their gift to solve.
• Support waste elimination and impact to revenue and cost as a percentage of sales.
• Identify and lead speed improvements to boost effectiveness, customer experience and market share.
• Facilitate Hoshin Kanri goal deployment and execution of new capability and resources.
• Provide expertise when facilitating Lean interventions with end customers.
• Support enterprise deployment of Wesco Lean Business System through training, coaching and progress tracking.
