Job summary

GHSP in Hart, MI is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader to design and implement lean manufacturing systems that reduce waste and boost production efficiency. You will report to the Plant Manager and mentor teams across the plant.

You will develop 5S and employee suggestion processes, educate staff on lean concepts, and participate in benchmarking with customers and suppliers. A background in lean manufacturing and automotive experience is required.

Qualifications

• Lean manufacturing education or certification.
• 7–10+ years of lean manufacturing experience, preferably in automotive.
• The ability to build trust, communicate courageously, and maintain a customer focus.
• A commitment to developing yourself and others through engagement and recognition.
• Strong execution and accountability, innovative thinking, and strategic vision.
• The ability to manage change and conflict.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lean manufacturing systems and standards.
• Lead waste elimination efforts and improve production efficiencies.
• Develop and maintain the employee suggestion system and 5S program.
• Educate employees in lean concepts and techniques.
• Participate in customer and supplier benchmarking programs.
